So there’s this Force Field, right, and it’s coming right towards you, and if you don’t step to the left or the right at the correct moment, then you’ll be a dead. A Dead. Why this has to be, I can’t tell you. It just is.

When someone is throwing themselves I’m pretty sure that it’s standard practice to just send one person with a flimsy blanket to catch them.

Jetmobile (Atari 8-bit Cassette 50 Game 47)

Two things:

  1. It says “Don’t crash into the white barrier”, then promptly serves up a purple barrier instead. Oh Cassette 50, you big Joker you.
  2. Jet Mobile? Looks more like some sort of Alien. Or one of those crappy three wheeled cars. Do they still make three wheeled cars? I hope so.

Parachute (Atari 8-bit Cassette 50 Game 46)

This is classic Cassette 50:

– The Psychedelic rotation of colours that they describe as “Fog”
– The breaking of my legs should I fail to land on a very, very, VERY small part of the screen
– The ERROR 3 AT LINE 2600 message is the best part of the game.

Tanker (Atari 8-bit Cassette 50 Game 45)

Wind is not your friend. Wind is your enemy. Especially when you’re trying to navigate a Tanker down a canal, and said Tanker seems to be made of paper. What cargo are you supposed to be transporting? Your boat hardly seems practical.
